Health & Wellness

This innovative program aims to support young people by providing them with tools and resources to foster personal growth, physical and mental health, and overall well-being. The Health & Wellness program was designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment where they can thrive, build self-esteem, and strengthen their personal and social skills.

  • Sports activities: Engaging in sports is essential for physical and mental well-being. In addition to improving overall health, sports help develop perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence.
  • Cultural and artistic activities: These initiatives play a key role in young people’s personal development. Cultural outings, music, theater, and visual arts workshops stimulate creativity, enrich their perspective on the world, and provide positive and varied means of expression. These activities also nurture their curiosity and passion for culture.
  • Animal-assisted therapy: Sessions with specially trained animals help young people relax, build emotional connections, and reduce stress.
  • Art therapy: Art becomes a powerful means of expression, allowing young people to channel their emotions and stimulate their creativity in a therapeutic setting.
  • Mental health support: Access to resources and professionals to support young people in facing emotional and psychological challenges.
  • Vision care: Good vision is essential for young people’s development. This program includes eye exams and, if necessary, access to appropriate glasses to support their learning and daily life.

The “My Backpack: Tools for Feeling Better” project is part of the Health & Wellness program. It’s designed for children in foster care, their natural family environment, or young people in the Youth Qualification Program who must leave the Youth Center and find themselves alone without psychological support, needing tools for their well-being and mental health.

The Foundation therefore offers them a backpack filled with materials and sensory calming tools, suggested and recommended by qualified healthcare professionals. The goal is to give these young people accessible resources to help them manage anxiety attacks, acute stress, or overwhelming feelings of fear, distress, or anguish, especially when they are in their natural living environment.

The idea is to offer them the opportunity to develop a sense of autonomy to better cope with their mental health challenges.

Your donations will be used in various ways:

  • Purchase of backpacks
  • Purchase of sensory calming tools
  • Financial support

What the Foundation offers you in return:

  • Annual reporting on how your donations are used
  • Visibility
  • Participation in our annual event
